Romans 8:15 NKJV
I. my Father.
A. Calling God, “Father” (Galatians 3:26-4:7).
“For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.”
B. Embracing God as Father. (John 8:37-47).
Calling God, “Father” cannot just be lip service.
C. Living as children of God. (Mark 14:36 + I John 3:1-9).
“Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God?” (James 4:1-8)
II. my Father, my Provider.
A. My Father is my sole Provider. (Matthew 7:7-11).
“…how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!”
B. Trusting the timing and content of His provisions (Philippians 4:10-20).
“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Jesus Christ.”
III. my Father, my Protector.
A. “Whom shall I fear?” (Psalm 27:1-6)
“The Lord is the strength of my life.”
B. What does it mean to be an “Over” protective Father? (Matthew 18:1-7)
“You mess with My family, you mess with Me!”
IV. Abba, Father.
A. He chastens those whom He loves. (Hebrews 12:3-11)
If you’re being ignored, then you’re in trouble.
B. We are not adopted into bondage (Romans 8:12-17))
We are adopted into victory and freedom.
