1. Honor God with your wealth.
9 Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; 10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine. Proverbs 3:9-10

2. Work hard.
9 The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor. Proverbs 22:9
3. Be honest.
8 Better a little with righteousness than much gain with injustice. Proverbs 16:8
1 Better the poor whose walk is blameless than a fool whose lips are perverse. Proverbs 19:1
22 The stingy are eager to get rich and are unaware that poverty awaits them. Proverbs 28:22
4. Live within your means.
7 The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender. Proverbs 22:7
8 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. Romans 13:8
5. Save for a rainy day.
20 The wise store up choice food and olive oil, but fools gulp theirs down. Proverbs 21:20
6. Give to the poor.
31 Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God. Proverbs 14:31
7 The poor are shunned by all their relatives— how much more do their friends avoid them! Though the poor pursue them with pleading, they are nowhere to be found. Proverbs 19:7
4 Cornelius stared at him in fear. “What is it, Lord?” he asked. The angel answered, “Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God. Acts 10:4
7. Value what’s truly valuable.
16 How much better to get wisdom than gold, to get insight rather than silver! Proverbs 16:16
